ENHANCEMENTS to the business model of Enhance have been announced, as it was revealed the firm has announced an additional 10 jobs.
The new deal will see the company expand its global operations from the UK to the US and Australia.
It comes as part of a deal with the US-based startup, which also confirmed it will be bringing a number of new employees to Ireland, the Republic and Scotland.
The company is also making changes to its supply chain, including introducing more automation tools to its products.
Enhance has a turnover of more than €500m and employs more than 1,000 people worldwide.
Its business model is based on an “agile” approach that requires people to take on the roles of “processors” and “creatives”, meaning they are responsible for running production processes.
It is the third-largest independent supplier of food and beverages in the US.
In 2015, it received a £8.8m investment from the British government.
The firm has more than 250 employees worldwide and employs approximately 200 people in Ireland.
